Commercial Description:
You’ve got to love coffee to truly appreciate this phenomenal brew. Brewed with an abundance of flaked oats, bitter and sweetened imported chocolates, Sumatra and Kona coffee. We’re actually not sure if this is some type of coffee cake or a beer. Either way you can drink this ale with a fork. Breakfast Stout has an intense fresh roasted coffee nose toped with a cinnamon colored frothy head that seems to never fade and makes you wish breakfast could last forever.

(bottle from Cletus or Riverside AK). Black color. Large brown head. Roasted coffee aroma. Strong roasted coffee flavor with light oatmeal and alcohol. Long duration. Smooth finish with light bitterness. Thin texture. Moderate carbonation. Excellent lacing.

Pours black with a fluffy tan head. The aroma is amazing, strong with fresh ground coffee and roasted malts. Tastes like coffee, cream, and dark chocolate. Mildly carbonated, heavy body, and silky mouthfeel. Finish is slightly bitter. This is a world class stout for sure, one of my absolute favorites.

Pours deep black like the joe I had this morning from the Moka. Nice robust, frothy tan head giving a strong coffee aroma. Very rich flavor - cocoa, dark chocolate, coffee - mocha like.

12oz bottle. Big rich thick pour with an aroma of coffee and dark chocolate that jumps from the glass. Thick tan long lasting head. Tastes just like is smell, thick on the tongue with a heavy taste of coffee as it warms. Smooth roasty taste. This is some good stuff. Trade with ucusty...thanks David.

Aroma of chocolate, oats and roasted coffee. Appearance is oily black with dark mocha head. Flavor of rich roasted coffee, chocolate, oats, light bourbon and rum. Palate was bubbly and creamy. Pretty good stout.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a jet black with small brown head. Rich aroma of chocolate, milk, and coffee. Flavor is of rich malty coffee. I got more chocolate in the aroma, coffee in the flavor. Lightly carbonated and syrupy. This is definitely richly flavorful, and good for sipping. At this consistency I’m actually surprised there’ not more booze in it, not that that affects my judgment of it. Excellent.

Bottle - It’s a beautiful beer, pouring dark as night with a massive tan head. I’ve always loved the way this beer smells -- a blast of coffee, cinnamon, a touch of milk and chocolate -- just pure decadence. Taste is real roasty, dark malt with bitter chocolate. The coffee isn’t as intense in the taste, as the cinnamon and chocolate take more center stage. The finish is a bit too bitter and burnt, but it’s still really tasty. It’s smooth, chewy, and slick. There just isn’t too much not to like about this beer. One of my all-time faves.

A beautiful beer. Very dark with a mocha colored head that lasts forever. The nose is all roasted malt and espresso. The flavors are incredibly layered, roast malt, coffee, dark fruits. It’s hard to imagine so much flavor that well balanced. Finish is dry and then a kind of time-release effect: a few seconds after you drink, there’s a burst of rich roastiness. Wow, why didn’t I buy more of this?
