There’s a sweet aroma and a fairly balanced sweet and hoppy flavor, but the finish is really dry that ends up bursting into a pine and citrus hop flavor. Really nice. wench (30), st. paul, Minnesota, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 16, 2009 Cloudy orange pour with minimal head and no lacing. Aroma is lovely of earthy pine and citrus/lemony hops. The flavor is wonderfully bitter that strangely has a sweet aftertaste. Mouth feel is slightly metallic but is creamy and has nice medium carbonation. Overall is solid and drinkable. jredmond (1068), New Jersey, USA

Good fruity, grassy nose, with a smooth bitterness. Great beer!! Doon (90), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 13, 2009 First time drinking a Founders! I had never been able to find it, but during a trip to New Jersey it appeared at a local Bottle King. Pours a golden/copper slightly hazy color with a healthy head that stick around. Lacing is very nice. Aroma is hoppy/malty. Flavor has light carmel and citrus tones. A very solid brew! luv2brew (179), Chesterfield, Virginia, USA

This one claims 65 IBU’s and I can believe it. It has good hop flavor, but it also hits you with a ton of bitterness. The nose is grapefruit/citrus. You know what you are getting into when you sniff this one. There is a good dose of malt that balances out, a very solid brew
