| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Apr 3, 2009 Bottle. Pours lighter than I expected, clear caramel colored with decent off-white head. Hoppy aroma mixed with a touch of citrus fruit and flowers. Immediately bitter, followed by a touch of sweetness. The hops dominate the start and the malt dominates the finish. A bit of nuttiness in there along with a fain touch of caramel. Tingly on the palate. Very good. BigBang (211), Indiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 2, 2009 I was hoping for better here. Nice aroma but flavor doesn’t live up. I guess I’m used to a little more kick in an IPA. I’m a big Founders fan but I probably won’t reach for this one over a Celebration, Two Hearted,Moylans, or Torpedo.

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 31, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a deep hazy orange with a thick white frothy head. Smell is floral and piny hops with sweet malt and hint of honey as well. Flavor is sweet malt up front with floral hops rounding out a lasting bitter finish. Nice medium body. Solid IPA. Nothing over the top but just a perfect combination of flavors and hops. TeamTrappist (396), jericho, New York, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 30, 2009 12 oz bottle, which poured a cloudy dark amber with a thin head. Nice and strong hoppy nose, with hints of sweetness to it. I found this very well balanced with a nice malt base to it. Hops have some sweetness to it, and the hop flavor is very long lasting. Finish is mildly bitter. Very nice. tekhna (106), California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 30, 2009 Updated: Sep 6, 2009Simply a fantastic aroma, very nice malt backing, and a nice hop bill. All centennial, and I think, if I had to choose, between an all centennial beer, it’d now be a hard choice between this and two hearted. This is a darker, more conventionally hoppy IPA, but that’s not always a bad thing when it’s perfection, is it? shawnm213 (939), South Bend, Indiana, USA
