Commercial Description:
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Dark golden with a mostly maintained off-white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, and hop resins. Tastes of herbal, lightly citric hops with notes of pine, sweet orange with caramel malt. Mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with moderate resins.

Pours a deep copper color ,with a medium foamy white head. Smells of crisp hops and grapefruit citrus, with a small malt presence. The flavor is very crisp and sharp with a big juicy grapefruit citrus and hop presence. very nice hop bitterness left in the finish and lingering aftertaste. really nice drinking lively IPA. Very tasty.

Transparent copper, oily after the small beige head dissipates quickly. Nose has pine and grapefruit, very clean hop bitterness. Flavor has more caramel malt but is still very bitter, lots of citrus and pine, slight alcohol. A little salty and thin, quite dry. Possibly my favorite of the Founders I have tasted.

Medium amber pour with a nice white head. Hop aroma is present as soon as I poured the beer. Smells floral with some citrus in it. Taste of the hops hit me first, then some bitterness on the tongue. Lacing appears after each sip. A very decent IPA.

Pours a cloudy dark orange with little specks everywhere. Nice orange head. Aroma of a very floral hops and...grass? Taste is a nice bitter with somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Overall a very unique IPA. I have found myself going back to this one often.
