Commercial Description:
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Pours a cloudy dark orange with little specks everywhere. Nice orange head. Aroma of a very floral hops and...grass? Taste is a nice bitter with somewhat creamy mouthfeel. Overall a very unique IPA. I have found myself going back to this one often.

Pours dark amber with a finger width of off white head. Citrus in the nose with a bit of pine. Nice Medium mouth feel. Taste is Malty upfront with a nice hoppy-bitter finish. Hardly no alcohol taste at all, which makes for a very drinkable 7.2% abv, ipa. One of my favorites.

Hefty, almost oily, slippery body. Bronze with big legs of carbonation streaming along the side of the glass. Floral, peachy aroma. Giant astringency, lots of grapefruit in the flavor. Some breadiness; catchy and even a touch of salt and pepper at the end. Minimal sweetness, very bitter, but tempered by the body. Good.

Purchased at Bruisin Ales in North Carolina. All I can say is that I am happy to have the opportunity to try beers from this brewery. If you live in Atlanta go to Bruisin Ales! Anyways, Very nice IPA, with a pungent hop aroma. Little citrus hop action going on. Nice thin head on top that leaves decent lacing. The beer has a nice orange color. Lovely looking IPA. I have never seen a plain IPA like this. Nice malt taste upfront, but after that the hops take over. The bittering hop is great because it kicks in after you have finished swallowing the beer. Great bitter flavor for this. Nice range of hops coming out. A damn good IPA with a decent palate as well. Awesome IPA, with some lingering bitterness.

12 oz bottle, poured into a tulip glass. Deep orange/amber color, darker than most IPA’s. Huge fluffy off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit and floral citrus hops, but offset with a lot of malty sweetness. Taste is very sweet and malty, with nice citrusy hop bite, but not too heavy. Very smooth mouthfeel. Perhaps my favorite IPA I’ve had! Founders never disappoints.

Butter’s 4th cellar reduction. Pours reddish amber with a thick white head. Nice grapefruit aroma very sweet. Balanced well by the sweetness of the hop and malt but still has a lingering bitterness. Alcohol is non-prevalent.

Bottle at the Fourth Butters’ Cellar Clearance Event. Very sweet floral hop aroma. Flavor of pineapple hop, nice bitterness flavor. Solid IPA. Nice.
