| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 16, 2009 Pours a glowing light brass amber with a decent head. Aroma of floral hops, honey, and a little sweat. The taste is full of dry, piney, grapefruity hops. This is crisp and well bittered, but not over the top. A big thanks to Adrian for another fine Michigan brew. ajm (965), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 13, 2009 Bottle from Charles St. Liquors. Nice aroma of grapfruit and flower petal. Flavor is similar, but ends on a rather acidic note. Full malt profile that balances pretty nicely. brewmaster55 (48), , Wisconsin, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Feb 11, 2009 My first Founders beer. If all the other brews are as good as this, they have a fan for life. This wonder IPA is exactly what I expect from an IPA. A great balance and they didn’t try to add too much into this beer to make it overly complex and miss the mark as so many others do. Good job Founders, I’ll have another... PolakPorter (83), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 11, 2009 Big citrus, grapefruit and pine. Exactly what I look for in an IPA. Delicious. Not complicatedly complex in its confectious complicity, however, this simple fact makes it all the more sessionable. Fine job Founders! This remains one of my ’go to’ IPAs. Respek!
