Commercial Description:
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Pours a glowing light brass amber with a decent head. Aroma of floral hops, honey, and a little sweat. The taste is full of dry, piney, grapefruity hops. This is crisp and well bittered, but not over the top. A big thanks to Adrian for another fine Michigan brew.

Bottle from Charles St. Liquors. Nice aroma of grapfruit and flower petal. Flavor is similar, but ends on a rather acidic note. Full malt profile that balances pretty nicely.

My first Founders beer. If all the other brews are as good as this, they have a fan for life. This wonder IPA is exactly what I expect from an IPA. A great balance and they didn’t try to add too much into this beer to make it overly complex and miss the mark as so many others do. Good job Founders, I’ll have another...

Big citrus, grapefruit and pine. Exactly what I look for in an IPA. Delicious. Not complicatedly complex in its confectious complicity, however, this simple fact makes it all the more sessionable. Fine job Founders! This remains one of my ’go to’ IPAs. Respek!

Bottle, White fluffy head that falls quickly back into the glass leaving think lacing on the glass. Light amber, coppery color that lets out scents of citrus and a bit of malt. Nice beer, smells great, tastes great. Another solid beer from Founders Brewing.

12 oz bottle. Pours a copper color with a full-finger slightly off-white head. Smells of hops, lots of citrus, and a little malt. Tastes like citrus (probably a grapefruit), and a lot of hops, with a bit of a hop-bite at the end. Overall very good though.

Bottle from Archer Liquor. Light amber color with a sturdy off-white head that laces a bit. Aromas of roasted caramel and floral hop. Flavor is really hoppy, but not all that bitter. Nice malt backbone. Nicely hoppy, but not overly bitter finish. Damn good drink.
