Commercial Description:
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

One of the best smelling beers. The head pours thick but disappears midway through. Typical IPA taste, nice bitter crisp finish. Again, the initial head and smell of this beer make it worthwhile.

Great use of great hops. Bottle pours nice reddish-gold color with decent white head that fades. Incredible fruity-hop nose, like all the best citrus without the green vegetables. Flavor is mildly sweet checked by serious hop bitterness that is not overdone. That combo of citrus backdrop and sweetness gives that perfect juicy impression. Fairy big body, a little thick and sticky where I prefer crisp and dry. But that nice citrus hop lingers for a long finish.

On tap at Bodega. Amber color with a white head. Citrusy and piney hop aroma. Lots of hop flavor with grapefruit and a malty finish. Very good.

12oz bottle pours a cloudy orange with a nice off white head, decent retention and minimal lacing. Aromas of piney hops, light citrus, and a noticeable malty nose. Flavors of caramel, citrus, pine, resin, and a decent lingering bitterness.

Bottle. Potent hoppy citrus and pine aroma. Hazy orange body, thick chunky off-white head. Flavor a very pleasing blend of citrusy hops and malty backbone, somewhat floral and spicy as well.

Courtesy of frampin. Pours copper with white head. Aroma of floral hops - pine with fruits - grapefruit. Taste, hoppy with good notes of caramel malts. Finish is dry hoppy with some spices.Very enjoyable and balanced with the bitter hops not being too forward.
