Commercial Description:
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

12oz bottle from mmm///beer. Pours a cloudy orange with some sediment. An off white head left pretty nice lacing. Sweet citrus and a good amount of malt on the nose. Flavors of toasted malts with some hop bitterness on the finish. A damn good IPA.

Pours a three finger cream head that fades slowly, leaving a good lace. Cloudy amber color. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Grapefruit hop nose. Flavor is sweet malt but this is an IPA and the hops kick in for a bitter finish. $2.25 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

Solid IPA with huge hop nose. Decent balance with the caramel malts. Bitter hop taste, kind of plain but good nonetheless. I prefer two hearted.

Pours orange/amber with a large billowing creamy off-white foam, lovely. I can smell those centennial hops a yard away, some nice rich caramel malt as well. First taste is rich caramel and earthy bitter salty piney hops. Fairly simple but in perfect balance, straightforward. It is a tad soapy. Some grapefruit. Love all the flavors without being sticky in the mouth. Wonderful beer.

Bottles from BeerBunker. Thanks buddy. Nice dark amber color with a thin head. Aroma is nice and hoppy with citrus rinds, grapefruit, and floral accents accompanied by a strong toasted malt character too. Grapefruit rinds are strong and bitter and are followed by a nice toasted caramel malt backbone. More hoppy citrus comes through as moderately dry and resiny. There is great balance in this one. This is an immensely drinkable IPA. Very good.

bottle. Pours a dark, flat amber color with a pretty small, unimpressive head that clears quickly. Weak on the nose, aromas of dry grapefruit and some toasted caramel. Flavor improves some... sharp grapefruit, medium bitterness, and a fair amount of smooth toasted caramel malt notes. Palate is clean, though a bit watery. Overall, a relatively non-impressive IPA.

On tap at brewery. Aroma of flowers, resin , citrus, caramel. Medium amber orange hue with an average sized white head that mostly diminished and left good lace. Flavor is citrus and piny hops. Some caramel and finishes nice and bitter. Palate is medium bodied and full of crispy bitters. Fantastic IPA, great flavors and fantastic punch.
