Commercial Description:
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

Very malty sweet. Floral and clover-like. Citrus hops that are slightly rough in character, but nice. Mouthfeel is smooth with light, yet prickly carbonation. A lot of pretty tasty hop flavor coming from the dry hopping I presume.

Sample at Alan’s HSC initation. This brew is a hazy orange color with a medium light beige head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Herbal, floral hops aroma with notes of citrus. Medium-bodied and moderately bitter with floral hops and pine flavors, along with some sweet malt and candi in the background. The finish is hoppy with a lingering zesty citrus aftertaste. Well done all around.

Bottle. Orangey amber pour with a white head. Grassy aroma. Resiny hops but not overly sweet smelling. Smells excellent. Taste is really balanced. Enough sweetness to balance the hops. Smooth finish. Great IPA.

Floral hop nose and palate. Extremely dry hops. Ruby golden color, small head with large bubbles and no lace. Floral and citrus hops. Not my favorite, but a pretty decent IPA. Bitter back end. ReRate: Extremely mild and balanced with nice carbonation profile. Floral hops throughout. Nice, full mouthful.

Orange pour with small white head. Big citrus aromas, some pineapple and mango, tangerine and honey. Flavors are much the same with a good burst of piney hops, omewhat spicey. Very smooth easy drinking IPA.

12 ounce bottle from Illini08. Thanks, Jeremy! This beer poured a nice hazy orange color with a small white head. The aroma consisted of a lot of citrus fruits and hop character along with hints of apricot. The taste was a great mix of hops, apricot, pine and citrus fruit. This beer had a nice medium mouthfeel that made me want more. This beer is exceptionally drinkable and very tasty! An awesome session beer!

Draft was a hazy amber orange with a small head that laced as I drank. Strong pine and grapefruit aroma. Lively bitter flavor that sticks to the inside of the mouth. Long dry finish. This beer is a winner!
