Taste of sweet amber malts, orange and pine, plenty of bitterness but good balance, bitter and slightly caramel sweet finish. Slightly cream in the mouth. Good IPA, one of my favorite styles. bigtaster (184), Grand Rapids, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 1, 2008 Medium dark golden/orange pour with strong aroma of citrus and hops. Palate is real smooth with a creamy hoppy character. Alcohol is hidden real well. Has a bit of a citrusy aftertaste with hints of orange. Pretty good IPA. Might buy again. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 24, 2008 (bottle) Pours out dark amber with a white head. Aroma is fairly strong with as OSLO mentioned, strawberry jam, light mandarin orange, pepper, and some caramel malt. Taste is quite sweet with caramel and a hoppy citrus peel bitter finish. The mouthfeel was medium, not too bad. OSLO (829), Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 24, 2008 [Bottle] Pours amber-red with a slightly off-white head. Aroma is alright, strawberry jam, floral hops, light maltiness. Taste is largely malty up front, then a good deal of grapefruit-rind bitterness. Medium mouthfeel, decent finish. A good beer, but not the best IPA I’ve had. CP (124), USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 17, 2008 Decent standard IPA. This is a lot like Hazed and Infused except with more hops. The dry finish is the same which is ok. Slight bitterness, but easy to drink and overall a crisp finish. The aroma doesn’t really have much going on with it. This beer is a basic middle of the road IPA.
