Commercial Description:
Selected as a benchmark for the Beer Judge Certification Program used in all American based beer judgings. Centennial IPA has quickly become the IPA of choice. Pour yourself a pint of this complex flavorful ale and bask in the frothy head’s floral bouquet. Relish the immense citrus accents, achieved by the abundance of dry hopping. This ale’s sweet, malty undertones balance the hop character with a finish that never turns too bitter.

A hazy amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is sweet and lovely hoppy. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, combined with a lovely hoppy character, leading to a dry end.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of GoBlue - thank you Bill. Fresh, citrusy - but also somewhat soapy - aroma. Medium body with light caramel but otherwise completely dominated by very fresh and fruity aroma hops. Medium bitterness in the finish. 011206

Bottled ay Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Hazy amber, brief head. Peachy soapy hop aroma,. Sweet and compact with clean mouthfeel. The peachy, sopay hops together with overt sweetness and clean, somewhat syrupy malt forms an immense bitterness that gets slight inky edges. While it contains loads of pleasnt flavoutrs it’s too sweet and unbalanced to live up to my high expectations on this brewer.

Beautiful amber color, hazy; big head. The aroma is well hoppy, not much peristent. Medium body strength, strong toffee flavor that doesn’t have a chance to show any smooth or sweet side because immediately aggressed by an extreme hopping; the bitterness increases even more towards the final, turning into an oily and dry hop feeling. Extreme, but not enough sweet or fruity for being my favorite; no feather here, just the sword.
