| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 27, 2009 Enjoyed from a 12oz bottle in a pub glass. The beer pours a light to medium golden color with a moderately-sized white head. The aroma initially appears to have a Simcoe-derived hop presence, despite the fact that it seems none are used. Yet, this fades as the sample warms a bit, and transfers from a danky, resiny character, to a more grassy tone. The palate shows an assertive and complex bitterness, but is again restrained by the grassy notes that are perhaps hallmark of Centennial hops. Overall, good, but not quite the "benchmark" I was expecting.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 23, 2009 12 oz bottle served in a tulip. Pour was a hazy orange with two inches of thick, fluffy off-white head. Nose was very neutral on this; I picked up malt, light hops, and very light pine. Taste was very much the same. It was so neutral, yet the notes of the style were there, but not outlandish in any regard. This is a very delicious IPA, and I feel this is a great starter brew to introduce the style to people who don’t care for the IPA. cprochak (421), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 19, 2009 Poured from bottle, aroma is of a hop garden, very potent yet soothing. This has a pronounced citrus taste while maintaining its hop balance, almost like a very hoppy Bell’s Oberon Ale. Appears like a traditional IPA, however this is one IPA that sets the foundation for what I like in a hoppy ale. rodrigosilva (1), Chile does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 17, 2009 Cerveza de cuerpo medio, sin filtrar (ojo al servirla...ya que su apariencia depende del cuidado que tengamos al servirla), citrica y fragante, malta caramelo presente, dulzona con un final dulzon y amargor amigable.
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Dec 11, 2009 bottle courtesy of tytoanderso! very nice ipa, pours a dark gold to amber color, nice khaki coloered creamy head that leaves lots of spotting. aroma is nice with stringent hops, sweet malts, and doughy yeast. the flavor is very bitter upfront, sringent till the back, and you think it’s a lil overdone, then the sweet malts with a tiny hint of the yeast come in and mellow out the finish and after taste! very nice and complex progression on every sip!
