aroma of fresh but sugary cherry jam. also faint "beer" aroma.
flavor is faint beer , cherries, faint wooden notes?, a little fruity bitterness towards the end. overall i much prefer the sour beers with fruit flavors, this one too sweet and not really sour (probably not intended so anyway).

Nov 5, 2009 Sampled at Oct Houston RB tasting thanks to Cavie. Grapefruit color and very clear and carbonated. Nose is tart and tangy. Taste is peppery, honey, cherries. Light and flavorful and would make a good summer beer.

Nov 5, 2009 [Bottle] Pours a ruby red color without much head. Aroma of cherry juice and some vanilla as well. Taste is predominantly cherry, with some light oak and almond notes. Quite sweet. Not too complex or tart. High carbonation level. Easy to drink, but needs a little bit more going on to be an interesting beer.
