| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 23, 2009 Pours out a bitchass red colour with a pink tinge, minimal off-white head. The nose is grainy with a slightly sour, lactic cherry taint and spruce/grassy hops. The flavour is sugary sweet up front, with mildly tart cherries, cereal grain, and a tart, but slightly astringent finish. The palate is slick up front, but almost syrupy in the finish. blklab2007 (975), Connecticut, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 20, 2009 On tap at Capone’s. Poured a medium reddish/pinkish color with an average sized, frothy, pinkish head. Aromas of cherries. Tastes of cherries, cherry pie, pie crust, and bready. On the sweeter side with a lighter tart, cherry finish (but definitely leans towards the sweeter side). Pinkish lacing left on the glasss. roder60 (1030), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Aug 20, 2009 Pours a bright ruby red with pinkish foamy head. Aroma is tart cherries and flowers. Flavor is an overload of tart bing cherries with some syrupy sweetness and a bit of creaminess in the body. I understand why some people might like this, but it was way too acidic for my tastes. I literally felt like I was drinking a glass of strait cherry juice. Couldn’t finish the glass. brentfeesh (1039), Gadsden, Alabama, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 19, 2009 Bottle purchased in Columbus, OH at Grapes of Murth. Amber color pour with red leanings and a light haze. The aroma does not give you much of a pre-taste. You get some cherry and the usual medicinal notes that I feel always accompany these brews. However, I think people are giving this a bad rap. I enjoy it. It is one of the least offensively medicinal cherry brews I’ve had in recent memory. The cloying cherry sweetness is only present at the very beginning and immediately mellows to a tolerable level. At no point am I demanded to think if this as a Luddens cough drop (though ALL cherry beer leans that way in my opinion). There is some harsh alcohol if you ask me and the medicinal note does creep in there but again is not overpowering. There are touches of other sugars and perhaps even a woodish note (though that may be stretching) but it is straight forward. If you like a cherry brew, this seems like a good one to me. mistersinalin (378), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Aug 18, 2009 I love my wife, but I don’t love this beer. Both are sweet, but the beer doesn’t have any character. I like the idea, but not the execution. Call me when you’ve smoothed it out. Too expensive otherwise.
