Smells more of bitter rotten fruit. No cherry at all. Taste is almost like NyQuil. Too bad I didn’t like this one, I’m a fan of Founders. At least everything else I’ve had from them is excellent. ketchepillar (485), Des Moines/Grinnell, Iowa, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 14, 2009 Bottled. Poured slightly hazy medium pink that also managed to tint the stubborn off-white head. The aroma picked up sour cherries and dusty, wheaty notes over a cereal base.. warmth brought out a bit of sweet cherry.. interesting. The flavor opened with tart, fresh cherry juice.. some cherry meat met bready and cereal notes on the weak core.. tart cherries carried through the finish, leaving brightness, but little depth or substance. Light-medium bodied with tartness as a primary character, but there were a lot of sweets there too.. very clean feel to it. Not bad. tekhna (117), California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 13, 2009 Better than I expected, but with an off malt/bitterness combination that just pushed me away. I don’t typically go for fruit beers anyways, but thought I’d give it a shot. Too much of an ale in this beer. I was sort of underwhelmed by the aroma too. Not terrible by any means, just not much there. JJClark (546), Roscoe, Illinois, USA
