Nose is some wheaty/ maltiness with marsciano cherries, sugar, vanilla, and some tartness. Flavor is lots of syrupy cherry, some vanilla, and a hint of some sour cherries. Interesting and vaguely reminiscent of Quelque Chose or Belgian Red. Medium bodied and pretty good. Naka (526), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 9, 2009 Pours dark amber red with a small fizzy light pinkish head. The aroma is a strong sour cherry raspberry, but with a strong malt backbone. The flavor is very similar. There is the tart sweetness that the fruit brings, but then there is also a very strong caramel and roasted brown sugar character. A slight spice to it as well. It was decent to try, but I don’t think I could drink a lot of it. MmmcKay (293), Brentwood, Tennessee, USA

Muted dairy nose leads to quite bold surprising flavors. Bold cherry vanilla yogurt. Creamy.Cherry ice cream float. Good balance between sweet and tart. Good beer. Aroma brings down the score of an otherwise exceptional beer. Butters (1653), Virginia, USA

Pours a clear reddish pink with small ring of near white head. Nose of faint cherry, bready, and some cinnamin. Flavor is cherry cobbler all the way! the aroma doesn’t prepare you for what you are about to imbibe. Nice semi-tart cherry finish. Totally awesome fruit beer. Flavor is cherry pie filling with some sour. Finish is cherry pie. radagast83 (1317), Fairfax, Virginia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 6, 2009 Bottle. Pours a reddish/pink hue, with a small head. Aroma is cherry, caramel, malts. Flavor is roughly the same, slightly tart/sweet flavor of cherries, with notes of caramel, malts. Not overpowering, and not "fake" tasting like so many fruit beers (regardless of whether they used real fruit or not some taste fake).
