Bright red color with a thin head. Strong grainy aroma. The cherry is certainly there, but it smells more like dusty dried cherry. Caramel and toffee flavors. The cherry manages to be both dry and syrupy. Not sure how that works.

There is only a subtle aroma of maraschino cherries, but not sweet. The color is a a pinkish auburn, like watermelon but clear. It has the flavor of cherries, but no sweetness. This is delicious.

Bottle. Pours a very reddish amber, with a slight head, and champagne-like bubbles. Faint aroma of sweet cherries. The flavor is sweet and very cherryish, but balanced with tang from the cherries and the yeast. Wheat dominates the finish. Another nice fruit beer from Founders, though not quite as good as last year’s Rubaeus.

Clear red body with a soft light pink head. Light sweet cherry aroma. Sweet chrry taste, not medicinal and quite nice. No tartness just juicy almost artificial cherries.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a strawberry red color with a large pink head. The aroma was tart cherries, light vanilla and tangy malts. The flavor was tart and tangy vague cherry with a sweet middle that had notes of yeastiness and vanilla. The finish was medium lenght tangy fruit. Solid if unspectacular.

12oz bottle courtesy of lb4lb. Pours a dark watermelon to radish red color with a slight white foamy head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with notes of ripe fruit, candy sugar, some hints of tartness and funk. Flavor is sweet and fruity with notes of cherries, ripe sweet fruit, wheat, candy sugar, some hints of cherry juice and honey. Medium body with a syrupy and sweet finish.

Bottle: Pinkish pour with a wispy fading head. Sugary, almost adjunct aroma- some candy sugar and rice notes mesh with a nondescript sugary fruit note and almond. Slick feel- sugary flavor with notes of almond, marzipan, vaguely cherryish but not very natural or soft. Thin and too sweet. Eh.

Draft @ Blue Dog in Lansdale. Pours a reddish-pink with white head. Has a sweet cherry aroma. The taste is sweet and tart. Has an okay carbonation. This isn’t what I look for in a beer. Has a medium body. The mouthfeel is okay and it finishes well. Good aftertaste but still tart. I am sure some people like this a lot its just not my glass of beer.
