draft at Trion in New Haven, IN - Pours mostly clear red with a thin head. The aroma is pretty much all cherries. It’s sweet with very ample cherry flavors and fortunately a decent malt base under all that fruit. I wouldn’t call it outstanding, but it’s good for a fruit beer. At least in the US, fruit beers are too often a weak beer, often a wheat ale, with some fruit, too often artificial tasting, thrown in the mix. I’d much rather they give the beer some body and really go for it with the natural fruit.

Very carbonated. Little aroma. Sweet and cherry. Not the cherry pie of a New Glarus Belgian Red, but nice overall. In fact, I would like a little sour thrown in the mix....

Bottle pours glowing red with short lived pinkish head and no lace. The aroma is sour cherries and perhaps yeast. The flavor is obviously cherry, slightly sour, pretty sweet, and a touch bitter in the end. The palate is quite lively and refreshing. Overall, not in the same galaxy as New Glarus Belgian Red, but not bad either.

What a pile of crap; I bought this to split with a friend. We both took about 3 sips and were not interested any further. Cheap sugary cherry VOMIT, seriously (well sort of anyway). Just not sure what is going on here.<12oz bottle, large goblet/tulip.

Draft. Pours red with a light pink/white head. The aroma is on the light side, some sweet malt and fruit. The flavor has mixed berries on top of a sweet malt base. Well made, but rather unimpressive.

Enjoyed via draft in a whiskey snifter. Pours a very interestingly red color - almost like the color of what we in Pittsburgh call "Red Pop." While I expected a nose similar to a Belgian kriek, what actually came across was somewhat different. Cherry, a little malt, and, believe it or not, cinnamon, came across in the nose. I enjoyed the nose, but it was not quite what I would expect in something advertised as a kriek beer. I got some cherry on the palate, along with a little more cinnamon, followed by a dry finish. Other than that, there was a slight not of balancing hops, but certainly not strong or bracing. The finish was pretty dry, giving an impression that was almost like a sweet wine. My rating for this beer is, to an extent, based more on the creativity of the beer and its all-around well-crafted nature more than the individual qualities of the example.

Bottle. Dusty berry nose, lightly sweet. Brilliant ruby pour with a light pink-twinged head. Taste is lightly tart, lightly sour, sweet with a bight cherry. Medium creamy body, light prickle of carbonation. Not much to say here - this is drinkable cherry juice.
