Aroma of the usual. Flavour was straight up cherry soda. Sheees, an OK beer, not my fave style. NOT for me.....others may appreciate... Lubiere (4550), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 23, 2009 A pinkish blonde ale with a thick froathing lacing white head. A rather strong butterscotch covering the cherries in aroma. In mouth, a cherry liqueur with nice cherry skins, a bit buttery and cloying. Lighter than expected. On tap at the Small Bar on Division, May 16 2009. Sparky27 (1608), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 23, 2009 Bottle courtesy of beerbill. Pours a hazy reddish orange with a one finger light pink head that results in spotty lacing. The nose is bready malt and light cherry. The taste is malt and semi-sweet cherries with a slight sour cherry finish that fades back to sweet cherry. Medium prickly mouthfeel. Nice brew. Thanks Bill! joshwilfong (793), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 22, 2009 gorgeous pink beneath a bone white head, giving it a jello and whipped cream appearance. mild cherry nose, though more of an artificial touch. the underlying beer is rather neutral with very little hop bitterness and most of the flavor coming from some grainy maltiness, likely coming from some wheat. the cherries add a little sweetness and maybe some tartness, but are subtle. the yeast adds a little esters to contribute to the fruitiness. a refreshing beer, alright smooch (111), Sylvania, Ohio, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | May 21, 2009 Comparing with Lakefront Cherry out of Milwaukee. I don’t see much to like here. There’s a bit of cherry flavor, but fairly sour and just strong enough to be bothersome. DMRz (224), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | May 21, 2009 Updated: May 24, 2009Pours a light pinkish red colour with a short white head. Aroma is sour cherry, almost kriek like. Flavor is much sweeter than I was expecting, with a somewhat chemical quality similar to maraschino cherries - not in a good way. I also found this to be a bit thin and overall was unimpressed. Maddog (248), Kettering, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 20, 2009 This beautiful, pink colored beer has a soft, tart cherry flavor, but overall, it lacks what I enjoy in fruit fermented beers. There is just not enough fruit nor tartness nor yeastiness. I wonder what yeast was used on Cerise, I doubt it was a Belgian. Sometimes I think that we are all spoiled by Belgian lambics, and it is probably a mistake to judge all fruit ales by lambics. timmydent (19), fishers, Indiana, USA

I am impressed with how little sweetness there is to it. Not much on the nose, or much for appearance, but it delivers in flavor and palate. I was wondering what kind of goodie to bring to a cookout this weekend, this might be it.
