| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 26, 2009 12 oz bottle from EZ Liquors. Pours a very nonconventional purple/amber with an average size foamy light pink head. Aroma of biscuit, grain, grass and cherries. The cherry aroma is not overpowering and actually doesn’t do justice for the tartness that you are about to expierence in the flavor. Flavor is lots of cherry tartness, cherry juice, grains and the tartness is broken by cherry sweetness as I continue to sip this one. Perhaps even a hint of graham cracker towards the end of the palate or maybe that’s my imagination kicking in since I haven’t had this much cherry since the last time I ate cherry pie. Speaking of graham crackers I just learned they were actually invented in Bound Brook NJ way back in the 1820s, go Jersey!!! The more I sip on this one the more I like it. pineypower (1096), Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 26, 2009 12 oz. Reddish amber pour with a bit of white/pink head. Some red fruits, cherry and grassy aromas. Taste is pretty straight forward with the cherries. A little tart at first, gets a little sweeter with some maltiness. Just a faint hint of hop bitterness on the finish. Pretty thin, almost like a kriek type brew. All in all I’d say this is pretty drinkable, but you have to be in the mood. Something a bit different from Founders. fidelis83 (728), Clinton, Iowa, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 26, 2009 Pours strawberry juice red with a 1 finger rocky pink-beige head that has o.k. retention and leaves thin sheets of lacing. Aroma is light cherry, grass, sweet grainy malt, just a little floury bread and wet tree bark. Flavor is cherry juice (really just like cherry juice at first), some spice, white bread dough, straw, mineral water, dried grains and a tart cherry, crusty bread finish. Palate is thin to medium-thin, with a pleasant carbonation level for this tart treat, finishes slightly dry and slightly slick. I have never had a beer remind me so much of the fruit it contains. It really is a delicious fruity treat, but it could have a little more "beer flavor" to it. nefarious (203), Clarkston, Michigan, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 25, 2009 Purchased at Champanes, has a clear medium red pour with white bubbles to form a small head and mild effervescence, head diminishes to a thin cover, very little sediment in the bottle, I saw some fine particles in the pour at the end of the bottle, leaves a little lacing on the glass, aromas of Cherry and malt with some Cherry and sugar sweetness, and little sour notes in the background, sip begins with a little Cherry sweetness on the tongue and moves to a dry Cherry tartness and pucker, there is some malt flavor but the Cherry is the key flavor, has a good dry finish, mouth feel is decent, a nice Cherry Beer. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 24, 2009 Clear maraschino colored with just a skimming of white head. Aroma is a hint of berry, with a mild skunky off smell. Taste is unexpectedly flavorful with rich cherry taste that blends with spices to a pie-like effect, and only the faintest touch of cough syrup in the finish. $2/12oz
