Your fruit beer will drive me to wine coolers and girly martinis. I’m comfortable with that, but are you? I’ve never seen a hot pink beer before. But I’ve also never inhaled cherry fumes. I didn’t know cherries emit fumes, honestly. Cherry pie with cinnamon fumes, precisely. The only thing that comes close is Belgian Red, but the fumes are more fumey here. Dances like a cherry pie too--some perverse ethereal elven cherry pie, woven from moonbeams and gossamer. Lower carbonation, but it still dances so, there must be a dash of fairy dust. My tastebuds disagree. Far too much lively acidity for moonbeams and gossamer doesn’t finish nearly so cleanly. Again with that cinnamon, but maybe it’s nutmeg. Just a hint, a hint mind you, of that acrid vomit sort of acidity in the start, but in a good way. Sweet up the middle. Long tart finish. I want to replace my blood with this beer and live forever in a magical forest under the ocean. Man up and give this beer the rating it deserves!

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Dec 27, 2009 Bottle. Slight hazy reddish with off white head that has a little pink glow to it. Aroma of cherries, gum, perfume, alcohol and a little burned rubber. Flavour is slightly sour though sweet with cherries and has an earthy bitterness to it. Not quite my thing, but still not a total catastrophe as it has some interesting notes in flavour that just lacks power in it’s expression. GG (1672), NorCal, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 24, 2009 I’m still not sure how I feel about this beer, even after the whole bottle. There were times I felt like it was on to something, but then other times it just seemed to drift off into nothing and just seemed one-dimensional. Received in a trade via daknole (thanks!) and the beer pours out reddish-pink color like the color of water after cleaning your brush using the red water-paint. Aroma was dusty cherries. Flavor was dusty cherries with a very light twang/acidicness to it. Not bad for a single bottle, but if these came in 6 packs....ugh... SuIIy (1486), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 24, 2009 Bottle. Pours a reddish hued color with a small white head that receedes to a filmy island with a small white ring. Nose is cherrys with a light biscuit malt note. Palate is syrupy and filmy, medium bodied. Flavor is cherry up front but finishes strong with a nice biscuity malt note and a stale malt and sticky swallow. shrubber85 (2995), Wallhalben, Germany

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 19, 2009 355mL thanks to Santa!!! Pours a translucent, beautiful pink with a one-finger, white, dense head that has very good retention. Leaves excellent lacework. Aroma is cherry juicy juice, artificial cherry candies. Fairly muted though. Taste is actually fairly tart cherries. Nothing like a kriek lambic but certainly this is not a sweet, contrived fruit beer. After the initial blast of cherries, this becomes a medum-bodied, creamy session ale. NosirIwont (1186), Aalborg Vestby, Denmark
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 17, 2009 Bottle. Pours a hazy ruby amber with a small pinkish head. Dusty, malty aroma with a strange spicy touch (sort of like a mix of anise and cloves) and notes of play-doh (!) in the vicinity of the glass, all of which makes for a strange blend. No cherries though. Tart, sweetish flavour with anise, metallic notes and a slight overtone of cherries. Tart, dry anise finish with lingering notes of chamomile. Overall an interesting, if not a very memorable, blend of spices, but it would have been nice with some actual cherry notes in it. Also a bit cloying. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 11, 2009 Bottle. Poured a ruby red color with a little white head that went quickly. Aroma was over powered by cherries, some cimmamon and malts. Flavor was very sweet. Cherries, ginger, raisin, and other fruits. Very sweet beer. Average at best, just not my style. sloth (1683), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA
