12 oz bottle: Rose colored body w/ a lasting light off pinkish white head. Aroma after it warms is sour cherry pie and fresh crushed malt. Toasty after it warms. Also a bit perfumey. Taste is much the same, but it has a bit of an herbal hop flavor mid palate into the dry finish. A bit tart/acidic, makes it refreshing. Cherry throughout, but not over the top... You can still tell this is a beer for the most part. Warming, and a bit astringent in the mouth mostly due to the acidity. Lighter medium body, medium CO2. Not bad.. Still not a huge fan of fruit beers, but as far as they go, this is a solid beer.

Nov 30, 2009 Reddish pour. Aroma reminds me of cherry life savers or maybe cherry jolly ranchers. Flavor is loaded with cherries, sweet and tart. My wife enjoyed this one a lot!

Nov 10, 2009 Bottled. A hazy red beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and cherries. The flavor is sweet combined with a light acidity and with notes of malt, straw, and cherries.

aroma of fresh but sugary cherry jam. also faint "beer" aroma.
flavor is faint beer , cherries, faint wooden notes?, a little fruity bitterness towards the end. overall i much prefer the sour beers with fruit flavors, this one too sweet and not really sour (probably not intended so anyway).

Nov 5, 2009 Sampled at Oct Houston RB tasting thanks to Cavie. Grapefruit color and very clear and carbonated. Nose is tart and tangy. Taste is peppery, honey, cherries. Light and flavorful and would make a good summer beer.
