Smelled like oak or bourbon aging malty goodness. Taste was the same with a surprising bitterness which I learned afterward was due to blending e.s.b. type beer and barleywine. Sweet sugary malty aroma and nice touch of chocolate. Taste is sweet sugary malty and a touch of chocolate. Some dark fruits, figs and raisons. Even a bitterness in the end to help balances it out. Easy to drink for a higher alcohol percentage beer. Reminds me of a barleywine...Overall solid beer thanks wolfman for sharing! ***UPDATE***** Stfun hooked me up with a bottle. Pretty much think the same thing as before but a little more impressed. Nice sipping beer.
