Aroma of bourbon, brown sugar and vanilla. Taste has a little dark fruit along with the sweet brown sugar, bourbon and vanilla. Also some sourness throughout, maybe close to peaches. Just a little warm. Very nice. f351c4v (408), Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 18, 2009 Pours a very hazy brown, with a great off-white head. Big aroma, lots of peat, caramel, sweet malts. A classic Founders complexity, lots of varting fruit tastes underlying behind the main malt character. Sweet, but not cloying, strong, but not boozy. Nutty finish... pick it up, if you can find it! MaltOMeal (653), Land of Sugar, Texas, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 17, 2009 Another nice offering from Founders. Pours a cloudy yellow with a grapefruit pink hue. Aroma is slightly boozy, with some malt and a nice mix of fruits. Flavor is full of bananas and cherries, with a lot of malt throughout and a touch of apples and ice cream. Tastes similar to a banana split in beer form. Touches of raisins and yeast. A little too boozy on the back end, but otherwise very nice. Palidor19 (1791), Brandon, Florida, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 16, 2009 12 oz bottle pours a glowing red with a beige creamy soapy head. Caramel malts doughy and rich with alcohol. Fruity malt flavors. Red fruits, apples, cherries, with strong alcohol following through. Finishes with a charred peaty bitterness that’s dry and lingers. The charred bitterness is intense yet not overdone. Tasty beer.
