May 7, 2007 Bottled, 2006 version. A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of hops and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel as well as light notes of alcohol, and notes of whiskey, with a thick flowing body.

Spicy aroma with distinct bourbon notes - I suspect Founders actually ADD bourbon here. Very full-bodied with sweet caramel malt and again these delicate, oaky bourbon notes. Nov 27, 2008 12 fl oz bottle. Pours hazy brown with a fully gone head. Mild spiced and hoppy aroma. Sweet caramel malty flavoured with a light bitterness coming through. Mild caramel note. Lingering hoppy and caramel malty, dense, into the finish.

Sep 2, 2009 Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Brownish amber, almost no head. Thick caramel covered in a wealth of wood. Mid-sweet with full body and cottony soft mouthfeel. Warming and flavourful with caramel, spun sugae, oak and vanilla. Light salty finish. Well balanced, mellow and malty.

Dec 7, 2008 Bottle, 9.3%. Very nice vanilla, oak, cigarbox aroma. Cloudy red orange colour. The flavour has a lot of vanilla, some coconut, hint of cream, all the nice stuff. Low bitterness, but balanced by the alcohol.
