bottle courtesy of fidelis 83. pours a very crisp clear, bright yellow/gold. small whitecreamy head fades quickly. very light smell, refreshing with hints of mint and garden herbs and just the lightest sweet malty backdrop. crisp apple notes on the front palate are very refreshing and light. the body of the beer slowly builds through the drink with a full on hop pucker finish. this beer is very light and refreshing for a 9+ iipa, you could easily get carried away with this beer.

4-Pack from Capone’s, Norristown, PA...bottle pours orange-amber with a white head...sweet smell of orange, hops...flavor, more pronounced than the smell, is immediately orange citrus, but quickly followed by bitter rind and pine...alcohol is hidden in the bitterness...one of the better DIPA’s I’ve had...would like to try more from this brewery.

12 ounce bottle- pours a hazy mandarin orange, minimal white head with some sticky lacing. Sweet fruity hops, caramel. Taste- prickly blast of hops, pine, grapefruit rinds.Solid malt backbone- cookie dough, caramel. Medium to high carbonation, and finishes dry. Alcohol is hidden quite well. Very drinkable. Would like to try a fresh sample of this as age of bottle unknown.

Bottle in motel room in middle-of-nowhere Indiana. Pours hazy golden/orange with a nice rocky off-white head. Nose is funky grapefruit/pineapple. Taste is sweet and fruity- pineapple, orange, cotton candy, brown sugar. Full-bodied with a bitter pineapple/grapefruit finish.

12oz bottle, courtesy of ryan. Thanks, dude! Pours a hazy, orangish-yellow color; thin off-white head with patchy lacing. Lots of orange and mineral bitterness in the nose; nicely dry, minerally, and dense. Full mouthfeel: loads of resiny, chewy bitterness, dense citrus and jaw-clenching hop numbness; excellent stuff and highly reminiscent of PtE. Lengthy finish: mineral and dense, chewy, resiny bitterness; lasting numbness, nicely dry.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle. Appearance: Deep gold with a small, foamy, white head. Aroma: Deep orange and pine hop nose. Taste: Caramel, orange, pineapple, tropical fruit, and a stiff bitterness. Palate: Medium carbonation with a medium, slightly dry mouthfeel. Long, bitter finish with some tropical fruit lingering on the palate. Overall: A pretty damn good IPA!

Have had on tap and from the bottle, and it’s great either way. When I had it on tap, it was a bit hot/astringent, but the bottle was better - might have been age.
