Pros: Great appearance. Surprised to see it’s a natural ale, with a lot going on in the bottom of the bottle. Has some lemon and pine going on in the nose, but it’s not bright, or fresh.

Cons: After 2-3 months in the bottle, it just doesn’t do much for me. It’s almost not ratable. Doesn’t have the freshness that I desire. Simplistic malt profile. Hops lacks vibrancy and pungency.

Rich caramel and candy aromas. Some orange, toffee, and pineapple. Light orangish yellow with a white foamy head. Sticks to the glass pretty well. Flavors are sweet honey with a nice fruity bitter hop balance. Rich and flavorfull. Slightly meaty with some salt, but not much. Some floral notes. Candied sugars and fruits. Palate is well proportioned and thick but not too heavy. Duration is sweetly balanced. Good stuff.

Tasted 4/6/09. 12oz bottle. Hazy and sedimented with an orange yellow hue. Thick ring of whitehead. Full bodied and bloody good! Just how I like it, sweet and sticky. Total grapefruit hops in the finish, but the initial malt profile is is mild lemon merange(sp) and jelly donuts. Bitter middle and finishes with a lingering nutty note. Sticky with big grapefruit and peppery hops. Balanced, blended and delicious. This is super!

A great DIPA, with a little balance too. Bravo! Lots of citrusy, piney, delicious hops flavor and aroma, but without being just hop juice.

12oz bottle. eggshell white head comes and goes leaving some webby lacing in its wake. the brew itself is a hazy marigold color with lemony edges. intense citrus aroma. grapefruit and piney resin. great balance between aromatics and bitterness. lots of lush hoppy flavor and enough bitterness without over doing it. good malty backbone that isn’t sweet but instead is very clean. not in the least bit cloying. alcohol is well hidden. all in all a very satisfying well crafted brew.

12oz - The aroma is sharp citrus, funky grapefruit and a soft caramel malt finish. Pours transparent gold with a small head and good lacing. Flavor matches aroma. The citrus hops are both sweet and sour. Palate is crisp and doughy. A very nice DIPA that is sweet and easy drinking while remaining very strongly hopped.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy dirty beige color ale with a medium size pure white foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of citrus and bitter hops is dominating. Taste is dominated by the bitter hops with some citrus notes and some subtle floral notes also noticeable. Malt is also present and brings some refreshing sweetness to offset the hops presence. Body is full with good carbonation and no appearance of alcohol. Very well done and easily drinkable with great refreshing factor.
