Slightly hazy yellow pour with an orange tint. Thin fluffy white head. Delicious hoppy aroma with lots tropical fruit and citrus. Sweet initially with intense hop flavor. Fruit and citrus notes. Intense bitter pine finish. End is a bit harsh, but this is almost exactly how I like my IPAs.

12oz bottle, pours a clear, yellowish color, with a slightly off-white head that dissipates quickly. Major floral overtones, flavors of grapefruit, lemon, pomelo... nice bitter finish. This is a fantastic beer.

Bottle: pours a hazy, straw-colored yellow with a thin white head, aroma of floral hops and citrus, taste is hoppy but not overpowering, crisp with citrus notes, nice touch of bitterness in the finish. Pretty good balance to this which makes it a DIPA that I could drink with some regularity.

12oz bottle courtesy of RyanC84 poured into a tulip. Pours a bright, clear golden amber with a fluffy white head that left good lacing on the way down and staying on as a cap for the duration. The aroma is fantastic on this with and dominated by hops of the citrus and floral variety. There plenty of grapefruit and lemons but I can definitely pick up some pine in the nose as well. The bready malts are there but take a back seat. The taste isn’t quite as impressive but is still dominated by hops. The citrus is there up front but not quite as sweet as the aroma suggested. The bready malt forms a detectable backbone before the citrus finishes things off with an bracing bitterness that lingers as an aftertaste with a slight burn of alcohol. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied and fairly dry with lots of sticky hops lingering on the palate. This is a beer that I would almost term a hop bomb. Tons and tons of juicy citrus hops and fairly abrasive in the finish. For a hophead likie me, those are good things.

Pours a light amber/orange with a thin filmy white head that leaves lots of lacing. The aroma is lightly sweet fruit and has a wonderful resiny, piney, grapefruity quality that begs you take take a drink. Flavor is decidedly bitter with a nice caramel backbone. Nice fruitiness as well. Medum ot full bodied Finish is very dry, long and citrusy bitter. I say 2 thumbs up for Devil Dancers replacement!

Bottle. Pours cloud orange with a small white head. Aroma is very flowery, soapy and citrusy, with orange, lemon, tangerine and grapefruit. Flavor is full of hoppy bitterness, right from the get go. Definitely one of the more assertive hop drinks I’ve had in awhile. Grapefruit, underripe blood orange, and kumquat come to mind. Finish is a touch sharp, full of citrus, and lasting.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a nice white head. Wonderful IPA citrusy bitter aroma that gets the saliva flowing. Swallow, then take that first inhaling through the nose sip. Tastes strong of grapefruit bitter, with notes of pine. Overall, this is a great IIPA that isn’t overbearing. Alcohol is hidden very well. Thoroughly enjoyed.

12oz bottle from Sam’s. Pours a clear yellow with a soapy white head and a distinct citrus and piney nose that isn’t too complex but is quite inviting. Piney citrus, grapefruit flavors that are strongly bitter and resiny. Not too complex or malty but bitter and delicious - how a good DIPA should be.
