Had this after hopslam. just doesnt quite compare, however this is a fantastic IIPA. Pours out coppery color with a decent beige head on it. Aroma hoppy and full of citrus. flavor is also hoppy with a nice grassy dry citrus finish.

Thanks kiefdog for the share. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Strong nose of caramel, heavy grapefruit, and clean-finishing citrus. Flavor is lots of malt to back up the assertive grapefruit flavor in the hops. Finishes clean and excellent- leaves me wanting more.

Bottle. Slightly hazy, deep gold in colour with next to no head. Aroma of grapefruit and orange hops with some sweet malts. Sweet, slightly strange flavour of orange squash and barley sugar, with a very dry grapefruit hop finish. Not my kind of beer.

Off balanced, overly hopped and citrusy. All in a very good way. Hands down my favorite 2IPA these days.

Appearance: touch on the lighter side with respect to hue; above average head retention on a white to off-white head; hazy indicating an unfiltered characteristic Aroma: rather intense citrus; tropical pineapple, kiwi, lemon, lime, orange; smells more like a fruit salad than a beer; not necessarily a bad thing (as long as it tastes more like a beer than a fruit salad!); also grapefruit Flavor: intense citrus continues; medium -high bitterness; very little malt presence; high carbonation and moderate fruit component Palate: definitely dry; high carbonation; no to little astringency; more crisp than smooth

Bottle from OHLRangers. Pours a lemon yellow color with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet and floral wtih notes of ripe fresh fruit, apricots, citrus, honey and floral hops. Flavor is sweet and floral with notes of honey, citrus, apricot and hints of caramel and booze. Generally medium body with a pleasing bitter floral hops finish.

Courtesy of kiefdog. Pours slightly hazy gold with thin white head. Looks as a double IPA should with that heavy dry hop haze. The aroma is full with citrus sweet tangelo and grapefruit to go along with a solid sweet malty backbone. Great aroma. I get big tasty notes all across my palate as I swill in the first sip with rich malts leading quickly into full tangelo hop flavors that bleed into grapefruit hop bitterness. It evens out into the finish with lingering citrus hop bitterness. Wow, very nice brew.
