Bottle: Pale golden pour with a light haziness. Thin beige head and tons of sheet lacing. Aroma is rich and citrus filled. Taste is full of citrus and floral hops and a smooth, malty sweetness. Lingering florals in the tail. An excellent version of the style. Thanks cpferris.

On draft at Teresa’s, served in a snifter. Poured orange with pure white head. Plenty of lace. Pungent floral nose. Flavor starts with a blast of citrus, primarily oranges and then progresses with some more bitter citrus fruit like kumquat and grapefruit. Finished bitter with some mild peppery spice.

12 oz bottle from Durhambeer. Pours a very nice clear gold with a thick white head. From the look of the pour, this could pass for some uninteresting BMC pilsener, but no BMC would have this aroma! Huge resiny hop citrus pine aroma, just loads of hops and very fragrant. Resiny hops, citrus, pine and enough malt to keep it slightly balanced, but this is a very hop forward beer and has a tremendous hop bitterness to go with it. Finishes with just a touch of the bitterness and some earthiness. Damn fine DIPA.

12 oz. bottle. Clear, golden pour with a thin, white head. Decent amount of lacing. Big aroma of citrus hops. Flavor is more of the same, with a nice mix of resin and some earthy funk. Long, bitter finish. Really nice beer.

Bottle. Glad to have found this. Yellowish orange colored pour with a white head on it. Aroma is full of hops, plenty of them, very fresh smelling ones too. Taste is kind of dry, sticky, grassy, plenty of citrus in here. Alcohol is not noticed at all. A very easy drinking double IPA.

Bottle from acknud. Damn what a beer. Aromas of papaya, mango and pineapple with some nice resin as well. Flavor hits with some big ass hops. Citrus, resinous and more. Has some malt but this bad boy is all about the hops. They shine bright and sing loudly. Bravo Founders.

Nose is floral with a large component of orange. Mouth is full of piney notes, with a sweet finish. There is some astringency (pleasant) in the mouth, none in the throat. Strong head retention throught the glass. Citric notes really open up about half way through.

Bottle. Golden yellow body. Frothy, white head, mostly diminishing. Big aroma of grapefruit, citrus, orange zest, pine with a hint of caramel in the background. The flavor is moderately sweet and moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately to heavily bitter. Tastes of bitter grapefruit, lemon, tart grass. The bitterness starts early and lasts long after you swallow. Medium body with a smooth texture that turns sticky in the finish and lively carbonation. Really good.
