Taste is of ruccula-salad, butter, grass, soil and citrus. Bitterness is fairly low, finish is salty and slightly alcoholic. Not a typical DIPA - elegant and drinkable! Ygberg (108), Sweden

Flavor of hops, caramel, toffee and citrus. Overall a very good DIPA that’s not to aggressive and very candy like. gnoff (3574), Göteborg, Sweden

Bitter aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, high bitterness. crackedmachine (89), Seattle, Washington, USA

The caramel aroma had me a little concerned that this would be an overly sweet double IPA, but that is not the case. Plenty of grapefruit and pine, a bitter finish, and some alcohol warmth, but remarkably smooth and well balanced. Very well done. tomthompson89 (1489), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Fabulous hoppy, grassy aroma. Tastes bitter, citrus fruit, hoppy, malty, hint of sweetness, crisp, grapefruit. Wonderful lingering aftertaste. An outstanding DIPA, wish I had more in the cupboard. coldbrewky (738), Saugerties, New York, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 9, 2009 Bottle in trade with quierocerveza. Moochass gassy-ass! Nose is strong pine and citrus hops. First bite is alaso along those lines. A hazy yellow with a tight thin head. Nose rounds sweet as the grain breathing balances out the hop harshness. Surpisingly drinkable and creamy even with the everpresent hopness (there...I used Bonster’s word). Wooop! Wooooop! plovmand (1736), Helsinge, Denmark
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 6, 2009 Bottle. Hazy yellow with a medium white head. Very flowery aroma with hoppy notes like citrus, pine and exotic fruit. Flavour is very powerful. Notes of malt, lots of citrus, grapefruit and pine. The alcohol is present and it ends up very bitter and grapefruity. Creamy and soft carbonated. A bit too straight forward bitter to my taste to be a gem.
