Bottle from Beermerchants in the UK. Hazy yellow pour with a decent fluffy white head. Fabulous hoppy, grassy aroma. Tastes bitter, citrus fruit, hoppy, malty, hint of sweetness, crisp, grapefruit. Wonderful lingering aftertaste. An outstanding DIPA, wish I had more in the cupboard.

Bottle in trade with quierocerveza. Moochass gassy-ass! Nose is strong pine and citrus hops. First bite is alaso along those lines. A hazy yellow with a tight thin head. Nose rounds sweet as the grain breathing balances out the hop harshness. Surpisingly drinkable and creamy even with the everpresent hopness (there...I used Bonster’s word). Wooop! Wooooop!

Bottle. Hazy yellow with a medium white head. Very flowery aroma with hoppy notes like citrus, pine and exotic fruit. Flavour is very powerful. Notes of malt, lots of citrus, grapefruit and pine. The alcohol is present and it ends up very bitter and grapefruity. Creamy and soft carbonated. A bit too straight forward bitter to my taste to be a gem.

Cloudy orange with a small white head. Perfumed citrus and pine aroma with a little orange peel and some biscuit maltiness. Sweet malt and juicy citrus flavour. The hop flavour is really intense and there is a lasting bitterness. Some alcohol is showing

Hazy golden color; small head. Strong aroma of malt, cereals, hops. Strong body structure, toffee flavor, some residual sugars (which is always good), powerful and resiny hopping, with some pine needles. Overall, a solid and pleasant Double IPA, yet not impressive.

Sticky gummy aroma, some heat, mostly lemon. Dank and heavy like a barleywine. Hazy yellow with a golden center like a hef. Peppery up front, concentrated. Is this bottle almost a year old? Winter seasonal? Jagged all around, broken. Doesn’t seem to be the beer described, or perhaps I expected more. Weighted too much on the malt side, hops have an acidic dryness. Musty.

There is a sweet, soft presence that holds the aroma of this beer in check. It’s nice. Chewy peach and orange and hops...lots of hops. It pours a nice gold/orange, cloudy and has a nice warm hue that is pleasing to the eye. The head was soft white and minimal. It looked rather watery towards mid glass. Flavor is dead on for an imperial. Full of life and appropriate hop, pine, round fruit and something almost like bark at the back of the tongue. I like this.

Bottle @ Hj Hansen, Odense. Pours hazy yellow with a small creamy white head and lacings. Nose is packed with fresh hops. Citrus, floral and grapefruit. Centennial for sure. Smooth and soft palate. Fine malty balance with a bit of caramel. Bitter, crisp and dry. Dangerously quaffable!
