| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Feb 10, 2009 Bottle from Archer Liquors. Pours quite black with a very thin dark tan head. Aromas of coffee, chocolate and mild burnt toast. Very full bodied with mild, mild carbonation. Flavor is really chocolate, followed by coffee, and the bitter seems supplied by burnt malt. Finishes really smooth, mostly dry and rather astringent. Heat is very well hidden. This is a really good IS. Nejhleader (930), Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA

Roasty malts, chocolate, espresso, and a bit of creaminess. Slight cinnamon notes, I think. Some fruit under it all as well. Not overwhelmingly alcoholic.
