Sweet, sticky roasted something at the back of the tongue. I like this. Yummy. A good finisher, but would prefer splitting/sharing a bottle in a snifter. Sweet, but bitter finishing chocolate. ?Is this a stereotypical stout? Think not. Very, very good.
Now just somebody tell me how I can get a !#$^%^$#! Devil Dancer?!?!?!? LilKem (1210), Marietta, Ohio, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 7, 2006 Bottle. What is with these Michigan brewers and stouts? They completely own the catagory and this is no exception. Pours black as midnight with a silky brown head with amber highlights that fades to a thin film. Aromas of chocolate, molasses, and brown sugar. Taste follows with hints of charcoal and traces of coffee. Finishes with a small alcohol burn. A complex and damn fine beer. buckybeer (666), Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA

Sort of dry and bitter, which isn’t bad. Coffee aroma and taste and a good 10% punch. A very very nice nectar.
