Commercial Description:
A bit of backwoods pleasure without the banjo. This strong stout is brewed with a hint of coffee and vanilla then aged in oak bourbon barrels. Our process ensures that strong bourbon undertones come through in the finish in every batch we brew. We recommend decanting at room temperature and best enjoyed in a brandy snifter.

On Tap at the Union! They had it listed as just breakfast and the bartender said it was actually the Kentucky breakfast....and I shit myself. I couldnt finish my Rouge nitro fast enough. But anywhooo on the the rating. Black pour with a nice small dark head. big roasty aroma with LOTS of coffee. Maybe a touch of burbon. Same with the Flavor. I have had the breakfasy many times and this is aweful close. I would love to try a real bottle of this. to compare at home. but outstanding none the less.

If it wasn’t such a problem to drink at 9 in the morning (unless its football Saturday for those college football fans out there) I would have this for breakfast. The pour is about as black as black can get (scientist are currently working to verify reports that Kentucky Breakfast is actually a black hole). Vanilla, chocolate, coffee, oak and alcohol on the nose. Texture is very oily/dense. Vanilla, lots of coffee, bourbon/oak and about five other things that I have not yet determine all mingle to provide an incredible drinking experience. Try it warm..its very pleasant.

I think Bourbon aged beers tend to go a little overboard with the bourbon these days. I think this is probably my favorite one. It is probably one of the best balanced beers I have ever had. It is strong with hints of coffee and bourbon mixed well. Pours pitch black. Very strong on the palate.

WOW. this beer pours black and coats the glass like coffee that has been sitting on the stove all day and almost is sludge. The flavors on this are an explosion of greatness that one is fortunate to experience. Coffee, choloate, caramel, roasty toffee. Damn this is good

had this brew for the first time in ’09. drank very fresh and though its very thick and complex, and with high alcohol it still drank very well. aroma is tons of coffee and burbon. some smokey and sweet over tones as well as a lot of chocolate on the finish. mouth feel is almost like a shake. this beer has great presence and flavor. great brew.

Best coffee styled stout I’ve ever had. Thank to Rciesla for sharing bottle. The normal breakfast stout is great but this kills it.

Serving: 12 oz. bottle. Appearance: Pours like black tar with a thin, brown ring around the edge of glass. Aroma: Dark, roasted malt, coffee, smoke, and bourbon. Taste: Dark roasted malt, coffee, a little alcohol, raisin, light bourbon notes, and bittersweet dark chocolate. Palate: Low carbonation with a rich mouthfeel and amazingly short finish. Overall: The alcohol is well hidden and the bourbon blends nicely (not overpowering like some). Simply put: one of the best impys I’ve had. A must try!

The best. This is my favorite American Imperial Stout I located this brew in Bethlehem, PA at a local deli that specialized in predominately craft brew. Poured Dark, thick, with little head, aromas mixing into the air as I poured it gently into my glass. The aromas were rich in Bourban with hints of vanilla, coffee, and chocolate. Certainly a smell worthy of this stout. Hides the alcohol very well with a warming sensation accompanied by the smooth swallowing of this excellent craft. Possibly my favorite stout
