Commercial Description:
A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle. This medium-bodied pale ale has a distinctive floral hop aroma and refreshing citrus flavor. You’ll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

Founders Pale Ale 12 oz bottle Medium pour in a tulip glass Recent brewing, hopped into 02/07 Poured a golden amber with a massive rocky fluffy slightly off white mostly lasting head with good lacing. Smelt of strong bitter and sour lemons, grass, light sour horseblanket like yeastiness. Taste was upfront strong bitter and sour lemon hops with light dark bread malt followed by a strong bitter grassy and mossy hops and moderate bitter sour horseblanket yeast. Palate was light to medium body, creamy, lively carbonated and strongly astringent. Overall, a very unique take on a pale ale. The dry hopping adds a great layer of complexity to this classic style. It does feel a bit awkward though. It’s probably a great lawn mowing beer because it smells like freshly mowed grass, high quality grass though.

A pleasant aroma of hops with the aroma of sweet malt. A hazed orange pour with a slight head and gooy lacing. Just a tad of malt with a good hoppiness that is borderline for the style in a good way. The palate is just a tad thin but still pretty solid. A good beer overall . The palate drags it down just a tad but overall this is a good beer.

Bottle from Ogglethorp. Thanks Brian. Cloudy sunset orange with a large, soapy white head. Subsided quickly. Nose is full with strong floral hops. Adequate balance between hops, malt, and water. A smooth pale.

I don’t know if I have ever had a beer that poured with more foam from the bottle (without being shaken). After a routine, this was about 90% faom in the glass. Finally settled down to leave a nice foamy head with bits of yeast residue, and eventually, okay lacing. Aroma was a mixture of grassy hops and a hint of citrus. Flavor was more of the same, but not quite as pronounced. Had a tingly mouthfeel, but a less bitter than expected aftertaste. Not a bad drinking beer, and I would have rated a little higher had it not been for the pain of pouring and waiting for the foam to subside.

12 oz bottle. Clear peachy orange with a billowy bone head. Lace vines. Light, doughy; some lime. Rather full bodied for a Pale. Little oily. Medium carb that softens quickly. Limeade, tangerine and plastic spoons. Long and bready pith finish.

Thanks to decaturstevo for sharing this bottle with us at the Nashville Tasting! Poured a slightly hazed golden with a white head. The aroma was subdued but some hops present. The flavor found citrus, wheat, and a light malt background. Light body with a mild bitterness throughout.

12oz bottle (thanks to ogglethorp) poured a clear yellow/gold color with a nice white head. Aroma was sweet caramel and resinus citrus hops. The taste was sweet with a fair amount of bitterness and a decent hop finish. Overall a good pale, just a tad too sweet for my taste.

This was the second highest out of the four i tried. A nic solid beer. Not sure what dr y hopped is but this one was good,. Nice and easy to drink and really smooth going down. This had a really good flavore to it. The smell could have been a touch better.
