Commercial Description:
A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle. This medium-bodied pale ale has a distinctive floral hop aroma and refreshing citrus flavor. You’ll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

On Tap @ Founders! Has golden/straw appearance. Minimal head with some lacing. Initial flavor is citrusy (Grapefruit) then there is a mild wheaty -- more like yeasty-bread flavor also bitterness from well balanced hops. This beer is a little lighter than what Im used to from Founders, but I like it. It’s crisper, and has a nice hop aftertaste.

bottle. Aroma: Really good fresh hop aroma. Getting alot of resinous and citrus notes. Citrus is grapefruit but also some kumquat, as weird as that sounds. Nice bready and yeasty aroma underneath the hops. Appearance: Slightly hazy and light amber in color. Head was creamy and abundant but didn’t last long. Good lacing. Flavor: Getting some nice caramel and bread flavors. Grapefruit, pine, and fresh grass when the hops kick in. Bitterness is light and refreshing. Palate: Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Nice clean finish. Overall: I agree with the blurb in the commercial description: this is a great lamnmower beer. Good flavors, but nothing too intense. A nice refreshing bitterness and a clean finish.

Bottle opens with a disturbing Pop! FOAM baby! I got 6 fingers of foam for 1 finger of beer. When the foam settles down, pours honey yellow. Still waiting for the foam to go down. Looks like those pesky root-beer floats of my youth. Fresh n’ hoppy taste. Did I mentioned the bubbles never stops. Not as full flavored as I have know from other Founders beers. Its hoppy taste stays with you in each mouthful till the last bit of it disappears from the glass.

Bottle (12oz). Hazy bright deep gold with an amber tinge, decent lasting off-white creamy/foamy head. Slightly woody aroma, sweet malt with solid but mild resiny hops, slightly yeasty - smells like fresh apricots, for some reason. Taste is very nice indeed - apricot, slightly more assertive piney yet gentle hops, initially quite sweet and juicy, the hop bitterness balanced the finish nicely - average body, not all that carbonated, a little syrupy and sneak-astringent - very nice indeed.

12 oz bottle. Excellent hop nose that translated into a great light hop taste that was not overpowering in the least. The dry hopping hit the nail on the head with it’s intent. Very smooth and refreshing. Slight sweetness of malt that cleans up without getting in the way of the hop flavor.

Good beer but I have never really been impressed. Kick of hops but mostly thin.

A light hoppy aroma is clearly evident with some caramel malt. The pour is a clear golden with a very nice white head of long duration. The hoppishness comes throught nicely and is sublte with the background of caramel.
