Commercial Description:
A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle. This medium-bodied pale ale has a distinctive floral hop aroma and refreshing citrus flavor. You’ll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

bottle. hazy orange body with a medium-sized frothy white head receding with some lace. small specks are in suspension. The aroma doesn’t really give out too much - it’s essentially ripe with pine needle hops and just a touch of caramel sweetness. flavour-wise it’s piney hops up front and center with virtually no malt backbone. dry throughout. I was really craving some hops and I certainly got it but somehow missed out on the whole package. Bought at Merchant’s Fine Wines in Dearborn, Mi in April 2006.

Poured a full glass of bright white foam into a shaker. Head barely recedes in clumps and leaves chunks of lacing...wait...pours a second full glass of bright white foam into a second shaker...wait..citrus and pine aromas...lose patience...extremely active and bubbly from the bottle, creates a mouthful of foam. Bitter, lasting metallic finish...wait.. Once taken from a shaker, it’s a different story. Well balanced caramel malts and grapefruit hops but a little flat (given that all the carbonation is gone). A most unenjoyable drinking experience, but flavor is not bad. Not sure how they expect you to drink this stuff while mowing the lawn. FROM THE BOTTLE: 6/1/5/1/6 = 1.9

Thanks to OhioDad for brew. Body is slightly foggy, with a big foamy off white head. Aroma is very floral, with citrus, and dried cherries along with a background of hops. Taste has a nice hop snap to it, with fruit, pretty simple but enjoyable beer.

Whoa. Poured like a saison... 99% was head. The carbonation here is insane! Nearly clear golden body. Aroma is hoppy and dominated by citrus but also has hints of pine and grapefruit. Flavor is the same, there’s not much of a malt base here.

This beer has an aroma of hops, rose and other floral fragrances. It is a cloudy gold with a good full sized off-white head. This medium bodied beer has a smooth character. The flavor is of hops and caramel. There is decent bitterness produced by this beer that continues to linger after swallowing.

Re-rating: I’m leaving the original below, but this time around, I sat down to a orange bodied beer with a little bit of head and aromas of citrus. Flavor is a bit thin on the malt... which makes the whole thing come off as a hops tea or something. Aroma: lemon, grapefruit, pine, hops with a white grape sweetness. Nice amber color with minimal white head. Laces nicely. Heavy malt with a little soapy flavor. Dry, hops is not as heavy as expected. Very floral.

Yellow orange color, white head. Citrusy aroma, some grapefruit. Nice light mouthfeel, good amount of carbonation. More grapefruit in the flavor, some other citrus notes, a little bready. Finish, mildly bitter, very dry.
