Light citrus aroma from the cascade hops. Was expecting a much hoppier presence that this one delivered. Some malt, light citris with a decent dry finish. A little better than middle of the road but not bad. hopscotch (5537), Vero Beach, Florida, USA

Fruity, earthy nose with notes of grapefruit, apricot, white pepper and fresh Cascade hops. Well-balanced flavor with notes of citrus fruit and light malt. Medium-bodied and dry with lively carbonation. Dry, grassy finish. Thanks go out to Growler for the bottle! dirtymike (2018), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

Aroma of sweet freshly cut grass and flowers with a touch of citrus in the mix. Bready toasty malt sweetness upfront balanced by assertive hops and a dry finish. Excellent rich, full body. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 4, 2006 Pours a clear deep golden with some yeast floaties and a thin white head. Sweet caramel malty, piney and citrusy hoppy aroma is very inviting. Starts with a nice sweet caramel malt presence well balanced with a nice amount of bittering and flavor hops with pine and grapefruit being most prominant. Finishes slightly sticky and dry with some fresh, green hoppy bite. A nice and enjoyable APA. illinismitty (1800), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 1, 2006 Updated: May 3, 2007Bottle. Pours golden orange, with a nice white head. Laces nicely. Aroma not very strong, but faint with floral hops and malt. The hop profile is not aggressive, but rather balanced with other flavors; toffee, caramel malt, and citrus peel. A nice crisp, bitter finish that lingers, but not overwhelmingly. Fairly decent. I’d like to try this one on tap. gearbike (418), West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA

Classic golden color but slightly hazy. Grapefuit hops flavor. Bitter but not overly so with a dry finish.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 13, 2005 Gold color with a medium head. Good hoppy nose that I believe was Chinook hops. Citrusy. Bitter taste with a little citrus finish. Moderate malt that knows its role and fades to the background. Very solid. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

Another Really Nice Hopped Ale from Founders. Wonderful Hop Taste, Smell and Some Light Citrus Notes with a Light Malt Background to Keep This Ale Grounded But Without Stifling a Really Tasty Ale. More Please!
