Feb 4, 2009 Hazy orange with an obnoxious amount of whipped creamy head (overcarbonated and gushing with a surplus of bubbles visible). Spicy ginger and sweet pineapple notes in the aroma. Muted, somewhat grapey flavors and very high carbonation make this drinkable, but not outstanding, $2/12oz

Feb 3, 2009 Bottle courtesy of tpd975. Pours a hazy copper with a three finger rocky white head that lasts leaving good lacing. Aroma of citrus and floral hops with sweet malt and a touch of caramel. Taste is the same as the aroma. Medium thin mouthfeel with a moderate amount of bitterness and very high carbonation. Good.

Feb 1, 2009 Current batch on tap seems better than usual. In general when drinking on tap at the brewery it seems pretty young and lacks any complexity to the malt flavor. The current offering seems to me to be spot on for a Pale of it’s type.

Jan 31, 2009 I enjoyed the hoppiness of this beer...but its a bit out of place for a pale ale. Needs a bit more of a malt balance (some toasted biscuit or something similar), or maybe a bit less on the dry-hopping. Still, the Cascade brings a great flavor to the beer.

Jan 30, 2009 2008 Bottle - Thanks tjthresh - Pours an opaque dk golden with a massive offwhite head...aroma is distinctly grapefruit, hop resin...flavour is quite dry and while bitter in the middle, finishes smooth and a bit malty...not as deep as other pales, but a nice, light welcome change...

Jan 30, 2009 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Hazy golden orange with lasting ring. Orangy sweet aroma. Doesn’t seem particularly fresh. Mildy sweet biscuity nutty orange fruitiness with medium bitter dry finish. Lasting fizzy throat and tongue bitterness. Medium body and medium carbo. Decent enough.

Jan 25, 2009 Super huge carbonated pour. Not much of an aroma....mild sweetness maybe. Slightly hazer copper pour. Very subtle flavors of grass and bitterness....and just maybe a touch of nuttyness. Finishes clean. You know this is way better than the last time I had this I mean worlds better.
