Pours a cloudy gold with plenty of sediments and a small white head that leaves a few bubbles at the surface and a thin white rim. Aroma is subtle, with earthy hops, citrus, grass, and malts. The flavor isn’t quite as quiet, with all of those elements along with straw, alcohol, honey, yeast, and stronger hops than the aroma. Light-medium bodied, bitter, and refreshing. Very nice APA.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 1, 2010 Bottle. Poured a hazy yellowish color with a little white head. The head went rather quickly. Aroma was faint hops, floral and herbs. Flavor was some citrus, and mild hops. Weaker for a pale ale, but still very drinkable. JK (2967), Richfield, Minnesota, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 21, 2009 Ppretty decent pale ale of the dry hopped variety. Poured with a large fluffy, frothy, foamy off white head and lots of lace. Color is a clear light to medium amber. Aroma is not overly bold, but hoppy, malty, earthy, not much citrus. Flavor’s about the same. Body is excellent and great carbonation. Nice clean balanced finish. Session beer. Very good beer, solid and workmanlike. acearl (218), J-Town, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 18, 2009 Bottle courtesy of Santa!!!! Pours a translucent orange with a thin, but rocky off-white head. Aroma is grassy, pilsener malts, Saaz hops, a bit of citrusm and then some really rich caramel shows through and something like Hershey’s chocolate syrup. Nothing like the grapefruit peel found in the Centennial IPA. Taste is hop forward: Saaz-like bitterness, a bit metallic, somewhat watery. Hmmmm. Not quite what I was expecting, but I am very thankful I got to try this seeing its distribution is a mystery (MI, OH only?). Thanks Santa! wavers1 (178), novato, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 11, 2009 bottle courtesy of tytoanderso. decent pale, nice hop presence but not very well balanced. mouthfeel is too macro, hops only appear in the aftertaste in not the best way imaginable, but not that bad. fiulijn (7520), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 10, 2009 Bottle at Monk’s Café, Stockholm, Wallingatan; 35 IBU, 5.4% ABV Golden color. The aroma is initially grassy; it’s also a bit creamy and dusty, meaty; ah, there is some malt too. Medium-light body, with dry toffee flavor and strong bitterness; the hop brings only a very light fruity touch, and there is a rare rose flower aftertaste. I can’t see much of the promised Cascade, but it’s still a god thirst-quenching beer. beernbourbon (317), chicago, Illinois, USA
