Aroma of coffee and cinnamon. Taste is smokey, roasted coffee, dusty, sweet fruits. Medium body that’s very nice. Most porters I have had are usually really thin. Overall very good porter, one of the best I’ve had. MereLikesBeer (158), Royal Oak, Michigan, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 21, 2009 I had this at Bar Louie in Novi with BeerBaron617 the other night. It was from a pretty fresh keg, so it was especially tasty. I am slowly growing in to porters and stouts, and this one proves to make the grade for me at this time.
A great black pour with a medium tan head that leaves quickly. It’s got a great aroma of chocolate and coffee, typical of porters, and the nose translated to the taste. Very great body/mouth feel, not too thick, not too thin, just right. It’s got a great flavor. buzzoven (333), Japan
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 20, 2009 Had this at the Pinhook, Durham, NC. Very roasted taste and aroma. Flavour held many classic Porter elements in place and conducted it’s execution on my tastebuds in style. SHANER4 (387), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA

Flavor/Palate :Mid full bodied. Roast but that quality checked , slight sourness on walls, smooth and balanced. Felt complete. Highly recommended well rounded strong porter.

Nose of roasted toffee, chocolate, coffee, and even a little fruity. Taste is super roasty, creamy enough to balance it out, bakers chocolate and a nice roasted coffee finish. So creamy and delicious this is one of the best porters I’ve had. Not too thick to even drink on a hot night. topherh (943), Kearney, Missouri, USA
