Deep amber-orange pour with initial two inch head that settles into a thinness with great lacing. Noticed a very piney, floral nose right away...and not much else, which is fine by me. Flavor is hops right up front (POW!) with that great rye to tone it down a bit near the finish. Finish is dry and bitter...just lovely. Thanks kryptic...loved this. Well the next day I bought my second and third bottles and MAN!!! what a beer....Dark orange, definitely rooted in a English bitter....my new favorite beer to have with a sandwich...rich and dry, very tasty, full flavored but very drinkable...a great session beer. Drink it daily and smile, because you are giving yourself a little taste of luxury. Tessic (443), Brantford, Ontario, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 27, 2007 This ale poured a dark orange colour with a white rocky head. To the nose there was scents of strong hopps, pine and floral bouqets. First taste was smooth with good carbonation. Flavours include rye bread, pine (hopps), grass and citrus. The finish is bitter with strong hopp flavour that last through into the palate. NobleSquirrel (1105), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Taste is rye...and what seems to be like grape and some hops. Long finish. The grape taste was very unusual, but this beer was quite enjoyable. yespr (11906), Copenhagen O, Denmark
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 18, 2007 12 fl oz bottle. Pours slight hazy deep orange with a light orange diminishing head. Peach fruity aroma, slight woody. Flavour holds a soft rye breadish malt base with a quite nice fruity hoppy flavour on top. Ends in a slight woody tone and a solid bitterness.
