Commercial Description:
Pours a spectacular crimson red with a creamy tan head. Brewed with four varieties of Belgian caramel malts imparting a sweet richness. Reds Rye is impressively balanced with its hop bitterness and floral bouquet achieved from the dry hop. In the finish, the generous amount of malted rye used accentuates a spicy crisp finish.

Re-Rate Pours a dark Star Wars Imperial Guard red color, small off white head with lace sticking around the sides. Aroma is lots of citrus and pine neetles, floral and fruity, caramel malt with a little rye. Flavor is hoppy, more floral citrus, grass, rye and a little fruit to it. Huge Thanks to Styles for hookin me up with this one!

You guessed it, this beer pours red. A nice shade of red too. Small white head quickly diminishes. There’s a real hop/malt combo happening in the aroma. Fresh squeezed orange dominates with subtle hints of pine and grapefruit rind. This combo carries over in the flavor - grapefuit and other sour fuit are evident. The finish is smooth - and leaves you with a hint of lemon. Nice drinkability and just really solid all the way around.

a wonderful appearance: a very amberlike, cherry red color; a bready, spicy rye flavor, mostly dominated by hops, with a slight bitter aftertaste. somewhat comparable to an IPA

This is my kind of beer! The aroma is dripping with oranges and grapefruit, like a tangy fruit salad. Beautiful deep red in color, kind of thick like cider. Te flavor explodes with tart sweetness of the variety of malts, caramel and rye, and the hops dig in their teeth and deliver a balanced attack. Very crispy and spice finish with a grapefruit aftertaste. This brew is a real winner! Thanks to Sliphium for the love, props to Brad!

Bottle from Puddintane. Hazy dark amber in color with no head. Maily bitter hop flavors throughout. Malty and bitter finish.

Bottle. Hazy red-amber with a thik tan head that fills the pint glass. Aroma primarily citrus, with some toffee, earth, and rye. Citric hop flavor at first with sweet malt joining in later. The rye is most evident towards the finish, and works incredibly well. Long, bitter finish. Delicious.

Pours a healthy red to slightly brown with a decent dense head, but perhaps a bit too much in the way of bubbles. The aroma is malty and lightly sweet with what I think is floral Cascades and something a bit juicier. The mouthfeel is is smooth and creamy, with tiny little bubbles and a decent viscosity. The flavors are strong and balanced. Sweet and creamy with rich caramel malt up front turning very quickly into spicy juicy hops. The rye starts to come through with the hops, but it keeps on keeping on, giving a nice lasting interplay with the hoppy bitterness. I really enjoyed this brew and I’ll be picking up a sixer in the not too distant future.

Reddish and amber in the glass with a disappearing head. Aromas of caramel, malt, rye whiskey, oak and a generous piney hop smell. Tons of hops pile on to the palate. Extremely bitter and dry, vegetal and pine hops. A sticky palate and finish. Muddled end where all the malts create a cloying caramel. Bitter to a fault.
