Commercial Description:
Pours a spectacular crimson red with a creamy tan head. Brewed with four varieties of Belgian caramel malts imparting a sweet richness. Reds Rye is impressively balanced with its hop bitterness and floral bouquet achieved from the dry hop. In the finish, the generous amount of malted rye used accentuates a spicy crisp finish.

Draft. Aroma of rye malt and hops. The flavor was similar and well balanced between the malt and hops. Good mouthfeel.

12 oz bottle via trade with Moejuck, I think its been a while. I’ve been looking forward to this since I had Black Rye a while back. Pours a deep amaber with a nice thick tan head. The nose is quite malty with a strong vibe. The taste is malty and hoppy with a spicy edge, that could be the rye. This is tasty, another gem from Founders, I love their beer.

12oz. Bottle Red’s Rye poured a hazy red/amber. With a big 2 finger rocky off-white head. The head sticks around on this beer throughout the glass. Leaves sticky lacing the whole way through. Smells of grapefruit hops and rye bread with a little sweet malt. The smell is great on this beer. It makes my mouth water. The taste is very good. Grapefruit up front followed by a touch of rye. Ends with a lingering bitterness that makes you want another drink. Very good flavor. Mouthfeel is good as well. A little thicker, coats the mouth. A nice carbonation. I could drink a whole lot of these. Founders did a great job. Every drink keeps me wanting another.

Pours a dark orangy brown. Has a half inch off white head that dimishes quickly. Aroma is of fresh grapefruit, citrust and hops. Taste is grapefruit and fruit cup upront, with rye throughout, that fades into lingering hops. All balanced by a distant caramel malt backbone. A very refreshing and balanced beer.

Pours an orange reddish amber color with an enormous foamy beige head. Unfiltered with plenty of little hops floating all around. Aroma is tangy piney with hints of caramel and rye. Taste is hoppy with hints of rye, pine resin, caramel and toffee. Excellent !!
