Thanks to cheeseman and miketd. This is incredible. Lots of bourbon and maple. Seriously well balanced with huge flavors. Awesome.

On tap at Kellehers, Peoria. Dark amber pour with a brown head. Aroma of vanilla, sweetness, bourbon, a little maple. Taste was like Bastard but mellowed out a bit. I found this easier to drink. It had nice flavors of bourbon, sweetness of the maple, nicely balanced and just down right tasty. It left great lacing and a yearning to try it again.

Yet another very cool brew courtesy of markwise. Pours deep clear amber with off white head. The aroma has malts, caramel, vanilla, bourbon and a bit of oak. The taste begins sweet with malts, vanilla, some molasses, bourbon, a modest level of oak and a sort of cream soda sensation that I’ve never been found of in beer. Even still its pretty smooth and tasty.

Poured red/orange. Nose was sweet sweet malts, maple syrup, bourbon, booze, wood, sweet fruits. Flavor was mild bourbon, fresh wood, some musty basement, fruity esters, sweet malts, maple syrup, smoked malts, earthiness, hints of aromatic hops, mild oxidation. One hell of a beer. Thanks for sharing Mark.

Growler generously sent out of the blue by Fiver29 – you da man John! Pours clear deep amber with a thin tan head. The nose is bourbon, vanilla, smoked peat and caramel. The taste is dark fruit, caramel, wood, maple and chocolate with a nice bourbon finish, but not overly so. Medium bodied. Very smooth brew. Thanks again J!

Growler shared with Sparky27. THANKS ERIC!!! Rusty penny pour with crimson highlights and a head that ends in just a ring with spotty lacing clinging to the inside of the glass. Subtle aroma of brown sugar and caramel but not nearly as complex nor assertive as the flavor. Bourbon, molasses, vanilla, and honey-baked biscuit are discovered there. Medium mouthfeel...solid carbonation especially from a growler shipped across country. YUM!!! Another winner from a great brewery.

Growler courtesy of cheeseman. Very nice bourbon in the nose here, with maple syrup taking a back seat to it. More maple in the flavor, with a rum and cognac element. Really nice.

Growler pour courtesy the very sexy Cheeseman. Pours a dark reddish amber with a thick tan head. Big thick aroma, lots of maple syrup, vanilla, and bourbon. Taste is thick smooth malt, maple syrup, bourbon and vanilla. A real sipper, this was fabulous.

Growler courtesy, cheeseman and miketd, and thanks to the guys who saved me a pour of this. Pours a mostly clear dark amber color with a small, foamy tan colored head that leaves some sudsy lace behind. The aroma is full of sweet caramel malt, toffee, bourbon, maple, and vanilla. The flavor follows and is just as nice with bourbon and maple up front with oak, vanilla, smoked peat as well. The caramel and some earthy hops add nice balance on the back end. There is definitely a kick to this one from the bourbon, but it is not overly hot. Medium bodied and very smooth with subtle carbonation leading to a bourbon and maple finish. Really great complimenting flavors. Just an awesome brew all the way around.
