On tap: as BNB and Silphium noted, fairly typical of Founders. However, that is not to say that this is a bad brew. I found it to be very hoppy (PNW varieties), and in a good way.

Sep 29, 2006 Draft at brewpub. Poured clear dark amber with a fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate sweet malty and sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium bitter flavor with a medium smooth bitter finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer.

Sep 16, 2006 dark amber/brown body with small off-white head...aroma is typical of a Founders hop-infused beverage...as Silphium notes, it begins very piney and finishes with a sugary malt complex...flavor is of Amarillo hops...very similar to all of their IPA variations. Very tasty, and well done.

Sep 7, 2006 On tap at Founders. Murky orange-brown body, thin/medium buff head. Piney hops aroma with caramel and sweet breads. In the vein of their Double IPA and Devil Dancer, this is a dense, rather complex IPA with a strong emphasis on Amarillo hops at the beginning of the palate, leading to a firm, less distinct bitterness backed by ample bready, toasty, caramely malts. Incredibly smooth for an IPA of this ABV and bitterness. Probably a one-off of the Devil Dancer.
