May 6, 2007 On tap only at the Monarch Tavern in Fountain City, Wisconsin. Straight from the tap, this brew pours a hazy dark amber brew with a white head. Dissolves quickly and leaves behind a nice lacing. Aroma contains some grassy scents, citrus, vanilla, grape brandy, caramel and a touch of semi-sweet apples. Taste is tangy caramel with citrus after taste.

May 3, 2007 Lot of carmel on the nose of this brown beer. Body has a similar caramel taste with a roasted character. One of the best brews on tap at the Monarch.
