Fountain City Prairie Moon Red

The last batch of Prairie Moon from Grays Brewing, on tap at the Monarch Tavern in Fountain City, Wisconsin. After this batch, Viking in Dallas, WI will be supplying this brew. Pours a clear dark caramel brew with an thin off-white head that quickly dissipates to a fine film and ring. Aroma of citrus zest and some fruity/caramel malt. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a touch of tropical fruit and caramel malt. Finish is smooth with a semi-dry bitter aftertaste.

This is another excellent beer they serve at The Monarch in Fountain City.It is not as good as the Fountain Brew but its damn close.

On tap at the Monarch Tavern in Fountain City, WI. Pinkish red in color. possibly a light amber. Good lacing. Tropical fruit flavor. Not so sweet. Mild hop finish. Clean and crisp. Tis is a nice beer served by nice people.
