Hazy blond color. Strange aroma: dirty water, hazelnuts, very light vanilla, light orange peel, yellow grapes; interesting. The mouthfeel is weak, the flavor is poor, quite dry, quite bitter, with a touch of citrus. Below average.

(Draught and Bottled versions) Pours a clear pale yellow body with a tall off-white head. Aroma of earth, herbs, grass, some grapefruit rind, and mustiness. Flavor of grass, florals, citrus, nuts, and earth with a moderately bitter finish.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Wine and Beer Westpark, 12/14/09

Aroma: It has some sweet citrus, some grass, a bit of honey, some cereal
Appearance: Pours a clear golden color with a bubbly white head and drippy lace
Flavor: Fairly mild, has some light sweetness with a funky grassy bitterness
Palate: This beer is pretty light and thin, with soft carbonation
Overall Impression: This beer is alright, not a ton going on, fairly mild on all assets, but not bad. I didn’t love it but it is works as a session beer. Here’s the truth, this isn’t anything special, but it’s still a decent beer, has a little flavor, worth drinking, though it isn’t totally memorable. It is clean and refreshing at least

12 oz. bottle. Pours a thin off white, lasting head, over a clear yellow (SRM 5) body.....nose is light pine and grapefruit......taste starts with light cereal, very light malty sweet (toffee), leading to light pine and grapefruit bitterness.....mouth feel is medium, as is carbonation. This is a pleasant, slightly light, not overly complex beer. Tasting of 11/27/09.

Bottle at the Porter Beer Bar. Not sure if this is the beer or the glass it is coming in but the aroma of this thing is very off with a buttery and funkiness that is a little off putting considering the style. A little bit of citrusy bitterness in the flavor and a decently smooth malt profile give a little bit of legitimacy to the drink. Aside from the aroma this is a decently drinkable session beer with enough to keep you interested for a while.

Bottle shared by argo0 6/28/08: Pours a transparent bronze with a thin-lacing white head. Aroma of fresh piny hops and some lightly grainy pale malts. Body starts lightly sweet and pale malty with a touch of sugar and crispy piny hops before a smooth finish. A pretty well-balanced and drinkable pale ale.
